The Cranbrook Kimberley Hospice has welcomed newly trained volunteers on board to support individuals and families in the area.

Hospice provides comfort to individuals during their dying time and support for their families during and following end of life of a family member.

Cranbrook Kimberley Hospice Society’s volunteers are trained to provide confidential, supportive, knowledgeable and compassionate care to individuals and their families during and following the end of life’s experience.

They spend time with clients at home, in hospital, in extended care or in residential care, and are available to their clients for regular visits. They are not rushed and have time just to be with them or their families to support and listen to their concerns with a non-judgmental attitude.

The volunteers were trained by Jeff and special guests — Steph, Trudy, Brian, Doug and Brian. These volunteers are now ready to see clients that wish to avail themselves of CK Hospice free services. Congratulation everyone!

Cranbrook Kimberley Hospice is now located at 37- 9th Ave. S. with office hours: Tuesday to Thursday - 10AM to 3PM, Email: info@ckhospice.com, phone: 250-417-2019.
