On Wednesday September 12, 2012, the Tamarack Centre hosted the annual All Male Fashion Show Fundraiser.

More than 250 women and even a few gentlemen attended to cheer on members of the RCMP, the Kootenay Ice, and College of the Rockies men's volleyball team along with Mayor Wayne Stetski.

The models sported clothing from Warehouse One, Bootlegger and Winners. Special appearances by "Marilyn Monroe", "Siegfried and Roy", Sammy the Cops for Kids Bear, and "Elvis" had the crowd in stitches.

Just for Pets also participated by featuring furry friends in the latest in pet fashions, while Dewey, Cheatem and Howe entertained the crowd with live music throughout the evening.

The event also included a silent auction and "celebrity" photo booth and combined with ticket sales raised over $8,700.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Cops for Kids, who in turn will distribute the money to children in need throughout the East Kootenay.

The event coincided with the Cops for Kids annual 1,000 km bike tour throughout South Central and Eastern British Columbia.
