1952 – 2017
It is with profound sorrow that the family of Michael Lee announces his passing on Friday, April 21, 2017 in Cranbrook at 64 years of age.
Mickey was born on December 12, 1952 in Edmonton, AB and had a huge capacity for the joys that life had to offer. He was always ready to dive in deep and never too busy to spend time engaging with all who came into his orbit. He will be missed by all and was loved by many.
Mickey leaves to mourn his passing his partner Yvonne, daughter Nadine (Michael), son Richard, 13 grandchildren and great grandson R.B., his brothers Randy, Marty and Ronnie, sister Wendy, his mom Ginny (Mel) Granger and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Vivian “Terry” Lee.
A celebration of Mickey’s life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Fort Steele Heritage Town in Fort Steele, BC. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Mickey to the: Friends of Fort Steele Society, 9851 – Hwy 93/95, Fort Steele, BC, V0B 1N0.
