CP holiday train rolls through Kootenays next week

Want to get into the holiday spirit?

The Canadian Pacific holiday train is rolling down the tracks and has many stops scheduled in B.C., the first being Fernie on December 12 at 5 p.m.

There will be free entertainment at the stops and if you are heading down to see the train, you are encouraged to bring a donation to the local food bank.

The train will also stop in Jaffray on December 12 at 6:45 p.m. and then Cranbrook the same night at 9 p.m.

On December 13 at 10 a.m., the train arrives in Creston; Castlegar at 4:45 p.m.; and on to Nelson at 7 p.m.

On December 14, the holiday train turns north up the valley, passing through Radium at 6 p.m and Golden at 9:15 p.m. before heading on to Revelstoke and into the Okanagan. The last stop is Port Coquitlam on December 18.
