This summer is the tenth anniversary of First Saturdays in Kimberley, and the organizing committee has put together a tentative lineup for the first Saturday of July, August, September and October.

Each Saturday there will be live entertainment in the Platzl. Bands lined up include Take Four, Clanna Morna and Kootenay Lately.

There will also be free evening concerts with Brass Roots on July 6 and Mile High Club on September 7.

There will be Rotary Pancake breakfasts, Elks Club barbecues, all kinds of kids activities, local arts and crafts markets and workshops and demonstrations.

There are all kinds of volunteer opportunities available, as well as busking opportunities for musicians.

Keep up with all the plans at kimberleyfirstsaturday.ca
