Thirty Kimberley kids recently got the opportunity to give hockey a try though the First Shift Program.

First Shift is a program offered by the NHL and Bauer designed to facilitate entry into hockey. It provides a positive experience for new-t0-hockey families.

For only $299, participants receive Bauer equipment from head to toe, a welcome event, equipment fitting demonstration and more, plus six weeks of once a week on ice sessions.

Kimberley Minor Hockey is running the program here for the first time and the 30 participants are very excited.
