Burrito Grill is Healthy Kimberley’s latest featured business as part of the Taking Care of Business (TCOB)initiative that Healthy Kimberley launched last year.
Burrito Grill is the recipient of a ‘micro grant’ from TCOB, which will go towards the purchase of a new kitchen scale to help determine nutrition information for menu items.

Marina Stropky, Taking Care of Business Health Promotion Consultant, says this will help customers make more informed dining choices in the future.
She adds that TCOB is working with the Selkirk Secondary shop class to build bike racks for the Burrito Grill and other local businesses in need.
“Burrito Grill owner Chantel Hack is no stranger to providing healthy options for the community,” said Stropky. “The counter-order style restaurant offers fully customizable, made-to-order menu options such as burritos, quesadillas, and bowls. This allows customers to choose exactly what they want – they can load up on veggies, control portion sizes, and satisfy dietary restrictions.
“Burrito Grill can provide a healthy, customizable option for staff parties or catering. Facilities are provided to encourage staff to make healthy choices. There is a fridge and microwave available for staff to bring their own lunch, as well as a staff discount for food.”
