Local dancers had a fantastic weekend at the BATD scholarship held in Whistler. The weekend consisted of scholarships on Friday and workshops on the Saturday and Sunday with legendary teachers, judges and examiners.

“We are thrilled to announce that Rowan Boardman placed second in the Masterclass and a judge’s placings in her solo; Sophia Bradley placed fourth in her written paper; sixth in the Sadie Simpson dance and also received judge’s placing in her solo,” said instructor Liela Cooper. “Congratulations to all. Join us for our annual Robbie Burns Night to be held Saturday, January 27 at the Curling Club in Cranbrook. A limited number of tickets are on sale now at High Country Sports in Cranbrook.”
