16 Sab Curtis - Instill.

Currently on exhibit at Art Gallery Kimberley is the work of West Kootenay artist Sab Curtis.

She began painting as therapy as she recovered from a traumatic brain injury in 2020 and Curtis has been painting ever since. Her work features acrylic landscape paintings and is titled “Rewired”.

Curtis is self taught and discovered the healing power or art while recovering from her injury. Through “Rewired,” Sab invites visitors to experience the varied moods and emotions that have shaped her transformation, from calm reflections to complex expressions of resilience.

On Sunday, May 12 at 3 p.m.the artist will host an artists talk at the closing reception of the exhibit.

The exhibit welcomes visitors from Thursday through Sunday, 9:30 am to 4:30 p.m.
