The next exhibit at Art Gallery Kimberley features the photography of Tracey Halladay. Intimate Details in Nature runs September 9 through 29, 2024.
Rather than focusing on the vast and beautiful scenery of Southeast B.C., Halladay takes a more subtle approach, looking for the smaller details, such as the pattern on leaves, textures of fur and feathers, and insect wings.
"I take the time to slow down and appreciate the little things around me. I clear my mind and become fully aware of my surroundings," says Tracey. "By looking at the big scene and gradually discerning the finer details, I capture the essence and subtle beauty of the world."
Visitors are welcome to view Intimate Details in Nature Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
