Athletes off to Italy for Special Olympic World Winter Games

The 2025 Special Olympic World Winter Games will be held near Turin, Italy, March 8-15

Kimberley/Cranbrook should once again be proud of Special Olympic athletes and coach chosen to attend the 2025 Special Olympic World Winter Games, taking place in four locations in Italy next month.

March 8-15.

Alpine Athletes  Erin Thom and Jesse Jensen, with Coach Misty Pagliaro, and Cross-Country Athlete Layne Benoit are off to Turin, Italy March 8-15..

Special Olympics BC – Cranbrook/Kimberley local also has athletes and coaches chosen to attend the 2025 Special Olympic Provincial Summer Games in Prince George, July 10-12.

• In Golf  – Erin Thom, Kyden MacDonald; Coach/Caddy – Misty Pagliaro, Caddy – Kevin MacDonald.

These individuals will be introduced at the Cranbrook Bucks Games on March 1. Please join us in acknowledging their accomplishments.

Join us Saturday, March 1, at the Tamarack Mall – 12-4 pm, for the Law Enforcement Polar Plunge.

Special Olympics is a global organization that provides sporting opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
