July on the Side returns for year two with eight local bands

July on the Side is back for its second year and its organizers have announced all the important details for those attending or hoping to attend for the first time.

July on the Side is back for its second year and its organizers have announced all the important details for those attending or hoping to attend for the first time. 

The event takes place on Saturday, Jul. 30 from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. and features eight local bands. 

The concert is sponsored by The Sullivan Pub, with its stage and sound setup provided by Just Music. 

Tickets are on sale now for $20 each and are available on site at #3 Boundary Street. The event is adults-only and beer will be available for $5 throughout the event.

Fyfe Williams

Five-piece folk/rock/bluegrass band featuring acoustic guitar, banjo and fiddle

Trena

Award winning Kootenay-based singer songwriter performing original country music

Soulshine

A talented four-piece blues band.

Shallow Wells

Original hip hop music, a collaborative music project between Nate O'Hearn and Darian Troy.

The Adits

Often dubbed as having an “old school” punk rock sound, The Adits are indeed old and most of the band made it through high school, so yeah…OLD SCHOOL RULES!

Black Diamond

The Black Diamond Band was started in the summer of 1975 by brothers Les and Fred Bolen, right after their family band Misty Twilight. Immaculately done, classic, rock and roll covers
