The Kimberle Nordic Club's (KNC) second-annual Brew Ski event, which will feature beer from five local breweries, is all set for Sunday, March 16.

You are welcomed to come and ski a six-kilometre loop while tasting beers from Kimberley Brewing Co., Overtime Beer Works, Grist and Mash Brewery, Encore Brewing and Fisher Peak Brewing.

Each station along the route will have a selection of beer tasters and snacks. There will be a barbecue to follow, with a beer garden and live music by Lennan Delaney at KNC's stadium. Non-alcoholic options will also be available at each station.

The inaugural event sold out in a matter of days last year, so the KNC said they are going "bigger and better this year" and you are encouraged to get your tickets soon to make sure you don't miss out.

To register, visit this link: zone4.ca/register.asp?id=38288

KNC is also seeking around 10 volunteers to ensure this event runs smoothly. Shifts are three-hours long and every volunteer will receive food from the barbecue and a free drink ticket.

There is a big need for servers sho have their Serving it Right certificate to pour beer at each station.

The club will reimburse you if you complete the Serving it Right course in order to volunteer. If interested in this opportunity, contact info@kimberleynordic.org

The course takes a few hours and the certificate remains valid for several years.
