Kimberley Alpine Resort was the subject of a new feature in SKI Magazine.

Kimberley Alpine Resort (KAR) was the subject of an extensive feature in the prestigious SKI Magazine — the largest print ski magazine in the U.S. — written by Matt Coté and published on Jan. 27.

The article, entitled "This Little-Known Canadian Ski Area Belongs on Your Itinerary" highlights KAR as "the biggest little secret in British Columbia," and says if you were to relocate the resort to Colorado, it would go toe to toe with some of their similarly sized ski hills.

"We have worked hard over the years to bring the right writers, journalists, media to Kimberley so they can share a meaningful story that matters about this place and most importantly — the people," said "Powder" Matt Mosteller, Senior Vice President of Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (RCR).

"We just don't want any story and mass distribution. We are careful as this story matters to the community and we are always grateful for community support for media hosting and those key partners who assist on media projects - lodging, meals and experiences - thank you."

Mosteller highlighted partners like Heidi Korven, Regional Media Relations Specialist at Kootenay Rockies Tourism, who is interviewed in the SKI Magazine article.

"We are also fortunate to have great partners to work with," he said. "Heidi at Kootenay Rockies is incredible to work with, Andrew at Tourism Kimberley and Kimberley Alpine Resort all working together to share the incredible experience offered by Kimberley."
