The New Pioneer Lodge on Church Street in Kimberley has potential openings for new tenants. Ron Christensen from the Kimberley Seniors Project Society says the waiting list is down to just a couple of people and the Society welcomes more people to put their name on the list for a below market rental in the buildings.
To quality, your income must be less than $55,000, and preference will be give to single parents.
The new Pioneer Lodge was completed in November 2019 and includes six two-bedroom units and six three-bedroom units. The project was built through the Kimberley Seniors Project Society, BC Housing, the Government of Canada and Columbia Basin Trust.
