The Kimberley Dynamiters were on the road again this past weekend, unfortunately returning home with two losses.

On Friday, Nov. 29 they took on the Sicamous Eagles, who got off to a hot start, scoring 30 seconds into the first period.

Kimberley's Australian product Riley Langille answered back on a power play seven minutes later, scoring his tenth goal of the season.

The Eagles bounced back and scored four unanswered goals. Kimberley would get two back late in the third, with a goal from team captain Trey Stephenson who is back after an early injury, and Danik Reeves' tenth goal of the season, but it would be too little too late and Sicamous took a 6-3 win.

"We had far too many players floating around accomplishing nothing," head coach, general manager Derek Stuart said. "Having bus legs isn't an excuse and we don't make excuses here, we were flat-out awful on Friday and got what we deserved."

On Saturday night they took on the Revelstoke Grizzlies, and though they didn't take home the win, Stuart was a lot happier with what he saw from his players.

Tristan Weill opened the scoring late in the first period, his ninth goal of the season so far. The Grizzlies scored two in the second period, both coming from Keiran Keilly.

Langille tied things back up in the third period, sending the game to overtime. Revelstoke's Jake Neufeld would secure his team the win just over a minute into the first period of overtime.

"We were a completely different team on Saturday," Stuart said. "We out-shot and severely out-chanced Revelstoke. We hit four posts and missed two open nets and that was the difference. If we play and compete like that more consistently we will get the results we deserve more often than not."

The Dynamiters have yet another road trip ahead next weekend with games in Grand Forks and Spokane, before they finally return home to the Civic Centre on Tuesday, Dec. 10 to take on the Golden Rockets.
