The Kimberley Nordic Centre (KNC) has announced that they are open for the season.
"Our snowcat got out early this morning for the first time this season and was able to set a track along all of the main trails," KNC said in a social media post. "There are still a few thin spots, but we anticipate these will be well covered in the next couple of days with all of the snow in the forecast. The trails are in fantastic shape for this time of year."
The opened with limited hours beginning the weekend of Nov. 22. The hours are as follows:
Temporary Kiosk Hours: starting this weekend, the kiosk will be open for daily trail passes and membership card pick ups. The kiosk hours will be 10:00-4:00pm November 23-24, 10:00-2:00pm November 25-29, then regular hours beginning on November 30
•New Regular Kiosk Hours: as of November 30, the kiosk will be open 9:00-7:00pm on weekends (Saturday-Sunday) and 10:00-7:00pm on weekdays (Monday-Friday)
•Lodge Hours: the lodge will follow temporary kiosk hours until November 29. As of November 30, it will be open daily until 10:00pm
•Rentals: rentals will be available as of November 30
•Trail Lights: trail lights will be on daily until 10:00pm starting Thursday, Nov. 21
