Following two at-home wins in Games 1 and 2 that were decided by just one goal each, the Kimberley Dynamiters suffered a 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Columbia Valley Rockies in Game 3 of Round 2 of the playoffs.
The Rockies took the lead with a goal from Paddy Donahue eight minutes into the first, the first of three unanswered goals.
Tristal Weill put the Dynamiters on the board early into the second period, but that would prove to be the Nitros' sole goal of the evening.
Ashton Sledz tacked on another to make it 4-1 with less than a minute left in the second, his fifth goal of the post season.
A final goal from Johnny Lozeman made it 5-1 and the Dynamiters will look to reset and bounce back in Game 4, which is back in Inveremere on Tuesday, March 18.
