And just like that, the Kimberley-Creston series is tied at two games a piece, following the Thunder Cats' 6-3 win over the Dynamiters at the Johnny Bucyk Arena.
Creston's Chase Bambrick opened the scoring with a power-play goal in the first, with Kimberley's Danik Reeves scoring his fourth goal of the playoffs soon after to tie things up.
Kieran Strauss then broke the tie less than a minute into the second and Joseph Krukowski then made it 3-1 for Creston.
Kimberley captain Trey Stephenson capitalized on a power play but Berkley Gross soon potted another for Creston and it was 4-2 headed into the third.
Krukowski scored his second of the game early in the third period and Creston held a commanding lead. Stephenson scored on another power play with three minutes left on the clock, but an empty netter from Creston captain Taylor Schmideder with 25 seconds remaining made for a commanding 6-3 Creston win.
Game 5 is set for Friday, March 7 in Kimberley, with Game 6 the following evening back in Creston and, if necessary, Game 7 will be played on Monday, March 10 in Kimberley.
