Kimberley's U11 minor hockey teams, the house team and the rec team, both finished last seasons by winning their championships.
Typically they get the opportunity to hoist their banners during the Dynamiters' playoffs, but due to the Nitros unfortunate first-round elimination, they had to wait.
After the first period at the Dynamiters' home opener on Saturday, Sept. 21 the U11 teams took to the ice, got some fist bumps from the Nitros players, and proudly raised their banners and were acknowledged for their achievements by the entire arena.
