This past weekend the Kimberley Golf Club hosted the 61st annual Pucksters Golf Tournament. The event was kicked off by a group of honorary starters, Mr. Walt Peacosh, Mr. Ken McTeer, Mr Chuck Passmore, Mr. Gerry Barre and Mr. Chris Sorenson, all of past Kimberley Dynamiters fame got the ball rolling for the 2013 edition.

For three days the participants enjoyed incredible golf course conditions brought to them by Tim Foley and his fabulous grounds crew.

The Low Gross Champion this year was Darren Gallagher with a score of 143. Zach Singer and Keith Mufford tied for runner up with a two day total of 145.

Jim Boudreau won the second flight and the Overall Low Net Championship.

Pete Longston, Don Code and Jim Penson won their respective flight’s low Gross prizes. Keith Mufford, Jim Scott, Lex Murray, Mike Sauter and Mike Caldwell were crowned low Net Champions in their flights.

Players from all over western Canada come to play in this prestigious event. Over $600 was raised for the Helping Hands Food Bank and over $300 went towards Junior Golf at the Kimberley GC.
