Kimberley’s Bylaw Officer Rich Klekowski would like to remind residents of the particulars of the City’s garbage bylaw.
Bears are waking up and they are hungry. Klekowski says there have already been several incidents of bears getting into garbage set out for pickup.
Under the garbage bylaw, garbage must not be set out before 5 a.m. or after 7:30 a.m. on the day of pickup. The schedule for your neighbourhood can be found at kimberley.ca
