The CP Holiday Train will be rolling through Cranbrook on Dec. 13 with performances from Jim and Devin Cuddy

Every year, the CP Holiday Train heads out across North America to travel through communities and raise donations for local food banks.

This year, the train will come through Cranbrook on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 9:15 p.m. stopping at 25 Van Horne St. by the CP Station parking lot.

Entertainment will be provided by Jim and Devin Cuddy, along with Kelly Prescott. Jim Cuddy, a member of the Canada's own Blue Rodeo, is touring with his son Devin, while Kelly Prescott is no stranger to the Holiday Train tour, having been on numerous tours through the U.S. over the years, sharing the stage with artists such as Sheryl Crow and Take Six.

CP is encouraging healthy donations, so feel free to bring items such as whole grain bread, brown rice, canned veggies, fruit and meat, and hot and cold cereals.
