Kimberley RCMP are asking the public for help identifying a suspect who assaulted a female near Mark Creek on May 22.

RCMP report the female victim was struck from behind by an unknown object and the male suspect fled the area, heading up the hill towards the ski hill.

The assault took place at 7:16 p.m. on Monday, May 22 near Mark Creek across from the Mine Tour yard on Gerry Sorenson Way.

According to RCMP the suspect has been described as 6 feet tall, with light skin, dark hair and a moustache. He was wearing a red/orange bike bike shirt and padded shorts.

The RCMP asks that anyone with video surveillance of that area to check to see if they have any images or video of the possible suspect.
