Construction is planned to start as early as mid-April, as crews begin to replace water, sewer and storm utilities, as well as complete reconstruction of the roadway. Work will continue into the early fall.

As with any construction project, there will be traffic delays that will affect residents, and those accessing Garden View Village, the Kimberley Health Centre and Medical Clinic, the Kimberley Special Care Home and Lindsay Park Elementary.

Traffic will be reduced to single land alternating for the majority of the construction duration.

The City of Kimberley realizes this will be an inconvenience and thanks residents in advance for their cooperation in following the traffic changes through construction.

The City will release more details on the project closer to the start of construction. You can watch for updates at kimberley.ca
