When you head down to the Civic Centre for the Dynamiters game at 7 p.m. Friday night, don’t forget to bring along a food donation for the Food Bank and toques and mitts for the toss.
It’s the annual Dynamiter Food Bank night, an evening to support the local Helping Hands Food Bank Christmas hamper program.
Bringing a food item gets you a ticket from some great door prizes, generously donated by Kimberley merchants.
You can toss the new (or gently used) mittens and toques as soon as the Dynamiters score their first goal.
“It’s a really good night for the Food Bank,” said Director Stan Salikin. “Last year the night netted over $2,000. We were very pleased. We’d really like to thank the Dynamiters for letting us do this.”
Game night is sponsored by B104/The Drive who will be on-site with the boombox and be giving away prizes too.
