Homes evacuated at Wycliffe due to grass fire

Five homes have been evacuated and Pattison Road and Wycliffe Store Road are blocked to traffic due to a grassfire.

A reception area is being set up at the Heritage Inn in Cranbrook for residents evacuated from the Wycliffe area because of the grassfire. It will open at 6 pm

BC Wildfire Service and RCMP are on scene and the public is asked to stay out of the area.
