After a very delayed winter season, and a bit of hand-wringing from local skiers, KAR confirmed Tuesday that the resort will open this Saturday, December 10 as planned.
Matt Mosteller from parent company Resorts of the Canadian Rockies said that with temperatures down this week, it allows snowmaking to be optimized on the Main Run and base area.
KAR will run the North Star Quad on Saturday for skiing and riding on the Main Run. This is not a preview weekend, the Resort is now in seven day a week operation.
