On November 3rd, 20 students from Selkirk Free the Children Club attended We Day in Calgary. It was a day filled with excitement, inspiration and motivation. The Saddledome was filled with about 16,000 students who want to change the world for the better. They were inspired and entertained by such superstars as Nikki Yonofsky, Mia Farrow, Spencer West and Craig and Marc Kielburger. The Selkirk Free the Children earned their tickets to We Day through their ongoing service to their community as well as global projects. We look forward to another year of great fundraising and awareness raising events.
