Kimberley Summer Theatre membership drive

Member-Palooza planned for Saturday, February 16 at Centre 64

After a year off to reorganize, the Kimberley Summer Theatre Board is hard at work preparing for not one, but two, productions this summer. The shows — titles have not yet been announced — will play Centre 64 for more than 20 performances and the larger McKim Theatre for nine performances.

The Society is also in the middle of a membership drive and they hope to entice you out to an evening on Saturday, February 16 to learn more about the upcoming productions and about the Society in general. Who knows? It could be something you would very much enjoy being involved with.

Billed as Member-Palooza, and running from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Dance Studio at Centre 64, the evening will feature performances by local talent, door prizes, refreshments and socializing.

Meet the current board members and talk about the plans for this summer.

While the shows are not yet announced pending royalty approval, a producer has been hired, as well as a director for one of the shows. Casting will be beginning soon in preparation for a very busy summer of live theatre.

Please RSVP by February 12 to 250-427-4561 if you plan to attend
