A murder trial stemming from the death of a local man has been tentatively set for February 2016.
On March 8, 2013, RCMP found 47-year-old Jordon Lenard Lomsnes, who was deceased, inside a Marysville residence.
Two days later, police announced the arrest of Claudia Valerie De Assumpcao, his girlfriend who had been living with him at the time for the past year.
De Assumpcao is facing charges of second-degree murder and arson in relation to
inhabited property.
The three-week trial will be prefaced by a voire dire to determine the admissibility of evidence before jury selection begins.
