On Thursday morning, January 7, 2016 at approximately 8:15 a.m., the Cranbrook RCMP responded to a robbery at the Byng Hotel Liquor Outlet by a suspect who had implied he was armed with a weapon.
The culprit made off with liquor but was quickly apprehended by officers near the downtown area of Cranbrook.
The suspect is being held in custody and will be facing multiple charges including robbery.
