Just a reminder that the Teck Kootenay Cup Finale Cross Country ski races are taking place up at the Nordic trails this Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17, 2013.
Races begin at noon on Saturday with team sprints and continue both days with both the Classic and Skate technique, and races for all ages.
A lot of local volunteers are putting a lot of effort into this weekend, and they’d appreciate a crowd coming up to cheer the racers on. Kimberley’s Nordic racers have had a good season and are definitely in the running for medals.
With the new Nordic club building open for warming up, it’s a great venue for catching starts and finishes. Come up and enjoy the excitement of ski racing.
