Over the May long weekend a Cranbrook Police Officer on patrol on King Street noted a subject sitting on the road side who appeared to have been assaulted.  Upon speaking with the individual, the officer learned the subject had just been assaulted by three other males who were still in a nearby apartment complex.

Two of the suspects exited the building and were immediately taken into custody by police.  The third suspect was located with the assistance of the Cranbrook Police Dog Team.  He was found on the third floor of the apartment complex.

The victim, a 25 year old Kamloops man, was taken to hospital and then released following a medical examination.
