Two Vehicle Collision in Cranbrook Sends Two to Hospital

Cranbrook RCMP respond to five motor vehicle accidents Tuesday

Cranbrook RCMP responded to five motor vehicle accidents during the course of the day on January 5th, the most serious being a head on collision involving two vehicles.

At approximately 450 pm Cranbrook RCMP were called to a motor vehicle accident at the Off Ramp to Highway 95A. A Chevy Tracker heading Northbound lost control on the slippery highways and careened head on into a southbound pickup truck. Both occupants of the Tracker were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The occupants of the pickup truck were not injured. Cranbrook RCMP is continuing the investigation into this crash but road conditions appear to be the contributing factor.

The Cranbrook RCMP is reminding motorists that road conditions can change in an instant. Please leave yourself extra time to get where you need to go safely.
