The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Board of Directors is considering an application by Gordon & Julie Webster to amend the text of the Upper Columbia Valley Zoning Bylaw to permit an Auxiliary Dwelling Unit (Secondary Suite) on the first storey of an existing accessory structure. The property is located at 2155 Kootenay #3 Road.
Bylaw No. 3186 cited as “Regional District of East Kootenay – Upper Columbia Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 900, 1992 – Amendment Bylaw No. 388, 2022 (Windermere East / Webster)” will amend the text of the bylaw to permit an Auxiliary Dwelling Unit located on the first storey of a garage on Lot A, District Lot 4596, Kootenay District, Plan EPP48099.
A public hearing will be held via Zoom webinar conference: Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 7:00 pm
The Board has delegated the holding of this hearing to the Directors for Electoral Area F, Electoral Area G and the District of Invermere. If you believe that your interest in property is affected by the proposed Bylaw, you may prior to the hearing:
- Inspect the Bylaw and supporting information by requesting that an information package be sent to you by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. Information packages may be requested up until Friday, June 23, 2023 at 4:30 pm,
- Mail or email written submissions to the addresses shown below before Friday, June 23, 2023 at 4:30 pm,
- Present verbal submissions at the public hearing.
