The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) Board of Directors is considering amendments to South Country Zoning & Floodplain Management Bylaw No. 2320, 2011
Bylaw No. 3219 cited as “Regional District of East Kootenay – South Country Zoning & Floodplain Management Bylaw No. 2320, 2011 – Amendment Bylaw No. 39, 2023 (Miscellaneous / RDEK)” which will reintegrate setbacks for enclosed runs and buildings associated with kennel use and repeal federally regulated aeronautics uses.
A public hearing will be held via Zoom webinar conference: Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 4:00 pm
The Board has delegated the holding of this hearing to the Directors for Electoral Area B and C. If you believe that your interest in property is affected by the proposed Bylaw, you may prior to the hearing:
- Inspect the Bylaw and supporting information by requesting that an information package be emailed to you by contacting acharest@rdek.bc.ca. Information packages may be requested up until Monday, June 26, 2023 at 4:30 pm;
- Mail or email written submissions to the addresses shown below before Monday, June 26, 2023 at 4:30 pm;
- Present verbal submissions at the public hearing.
You must pre-register in order to attend and provide verbal presentations or make comments at the hearing. The deadline to register is Monday, June 26, 2023 at 4:30 pm.
