January 21, 1955 - August 12, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Paul announce his passing on Sunday August 12, 2018 in Calgary at South Health Campus.

Dan was born and raised in southeastern Saskatchewan. After attending McNaughton High School in Moosomin, Sask., Dan would soon leave to explore B.C. Places such as Kitimat, Prince George and eventually Sparwood.

This is where Dan would begin to shine. He was a take charge kind of guy and soon became manager of Oldham's Transport Ltd. Honing his skills in the transporting business, Dan would take the opportunity to become his own boss and he and his family (by this time he had two sons) moved to Cranbrook to become owner/operator of Cranbrook Express Transport. Many life changes took him back to Sparwood and then to Alberta where he would remain for the latter years of his life.

Survived by his mom Alice of Cumberland,B.C. His son Jason (Brenda and grandson Chad) Calgary AB, Trevor (grandson Maximus) Calgary Ab., Shane Young U.S.A. Sisters Beverley Shauf (Doug) Esterhazy, Sask., Esther Gigliotti (Dan) Comox B.C., Judy Probert (Derwin) Martensville Sask., Lorna O'Grady (Ron) North Vancouver, B.C. Freda Cuddington (Dennis) Wawota Sask., Claudette Chorney (Brian) Drayton Valley Ab. Brothers Floyd , Red Deer Ab., Clayton (Serina) Sparwood, B.C. Dan was predeceased by his dad Clifford.

As requested there will not be a service. There will be a private family gathering at a later date. Donations can be made to the Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, in honour of Dan. Thank you.
