Tragically Daniel Isaac Christian Stone

(41), of Cranbrook BC, A.K.A. “Antler,

DanO, Danny boy, Bunny boy, Dan bun,” was taken suddenly on Sunday,

August 14, 2016 while riding his motorbike with a friend just east of New

Denver, BC.

Born in Edmonton, AB, August 27, 1978, the youngest of three Daniel

moved to Cranbrook shortly after fi nishing high school. He wanted to be

outdoors, hunt, and not have to be confi ned to a desk or indoors. He

enjoyed many different jobs before becoming a lineman with Telus.

Dan’s crowning achievement is his love and dedication to his family. He

loved his God to the end, resting in the promises of the Bible. Unique in

the sense that he would “lineman” hug complete strangers or give them

the shirt off his back, his love of others and incredible sense of humor will

leave us with stories to tell.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Lynn “Jan” Stone, his son Tyen (14) and

two daughters Rowan (12) and Bronwyn (9). There are broken hearts of

extended family and friends everywhere.

His memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 20,

2016 at the Cranbrook Alliance Church (1200 Kootenay Street North
