Enes Sartor passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in Cranbrook at 87 years of age.
Enes was born on July 4, 1929 in Natal, BC. She was a devoted mother and Nonna, who loved her family immensely and would always put them first. She loved having a big Italian feast and wanted people to mangia (eat in Italian). Her biggest joy was her two grandchildren Cody and Nicole. She loved spoiling them! Enes was so excited awaiting the arrival of her great grandchild and becoming a Bisa Nonna.
Enes is survived by her daughter Flavia (Doug) Jackson, grandson Cody (Kelsey) Jackson, granddaughter Nicole (Brendon) Hiller, sister Giovanna Martin, niece Clara Infanti and family in Burnaby and other cousins in Canada and Italy. She was predeceased by her daughter Debbie Sartor in 1997, her husband Alceo Sartor in 2011, her mother in 1975 and her father who was killed in a mining accident in Natal, BC when Enes was just 1 years old.
A funeral mass for Enes will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cranbrook.
