Enid M. Holloway - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Mom, Grandma, Great- Grandma, and even Great-Great Grandma, Enid Holloway.

Enid was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, the youngest child of Henry and Elsie Hahn. She lived in the Kindersley area for 46 years, marrying her first husband, Mac Mitchell, and raising six children. She lost Mac to cancer in 1967. In 1971, she then married Robert Holloway and moved to Castor, Alberta, bringing together her six children and his five.

Her life was full and rich with experiences as a farmer and rancher. Gardening was an essential part of her life, and she excelled at it. Other activities she loved participating in were quilting, cooking, and socializing with family, friends, and anyone who crossed her path. In 1999, after Robert passed away, she moved to Cranbrook, BC, to be close to her family there.

Enid is survived by 5 children, David (Carol) Mitchell, Lawrence (Jan) Mitchell, Dawne Mitchell, Marilee Mitchell, and Marguerite Hall, and by 4 stepchildren, David (Mary) Holloway, Merle Holloway, Keith Holloway, and Gerald (Rebecca) Holloway.

She was blessed with 24 grandkids, 27 great-grandkids, and 2 great-great grandkids. Enid cherished relationships with many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Enid's family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Dawson, the Home Support Care Aides and Home Care nurses, as well as the Commitment to Care staff, who all took amazing care of her as needed.

Also, thank you to the 3rd floor nursing staff at East Kootenay Regional Hospital for your gentle care.

In honour of Enid, a Memorial Open House will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church in Cranbrook, BC, November 19 (Sunday), from 4-6 pm. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory are encouraged to give to World Vision Canada, www.worldvision.ca.
