With sadness the family of Gerry Bond announces his passing on September 4, 2021 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
Gerry worked his career with Cominco, starting as a Concentrator, and ending his career as the Head of Crushing and Conveying underground. His great love of hockey saw him as President of the WIHL and General Manager of the Dynamiters Hockey Club when they won the Allan Cup.
Gerry is survived by his wife Janice, his children Marcia and Daniel and Alan's children Alan, Mary Ellen, Sarah and Kevin and Helens children Judi, Tommy and Heather.
He was predeceased by his parents Annie and Alan Bond, his brother Alan and Alan's children John and Susan, his brother Donald and his sister Helen.
There will be no services.
