Jeannine was born in Montreal, Quebec on October 27, 1932, where she lived and worked, till August of this year when she became a resident of the Kootenays.
She immediately fell in love with the mountains and numerous lakes. Jeannine was quick with a smile and a compliment and loved to meet new people. Jeannine was kind and generous, a lady with a golden heart. She will be sorely missed by friends, new and old, and all of her family. Mom, Gram, you left us much too soon.
On January 15th, 2019 in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Mrs. Jeannine Goyette, passed away at 86 years of age. Jeannine is survived by her daughter Michelle, her grandchildren Shanna, Stephanie, Adrian-Mathieu, Maxime, Anouchka (Ray); her great grandchildren, Mary-Pier, Jakob, Maksim, Caeleb, Isaac- Evan, Leland, Miah-Lynn and Azrael; her brothers Serge (Sherly), Alain; sister-in-law Louisette; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jeannine was predeceased by her parents Juliette and Edmond; her daughter Gilaine; brothers Guy (Huguette), Andre; sisters Jacqueline (Robert), Ginette and great grandson Bellamy.
A funeral mass for Jeannine was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cranbrook on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
