Jo-Anne Strookow, born in Chilliwack, British Columbia August 15, 1956, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018, at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook surrounded by her loving husband Robert Strookow and daughters Stephanie Keitch (husband Chris and daughters Maddison and Emily) and Amy Dickson (husband James).
Jo-Anne was a fierce woman who loved to spend time with her family, diving into a good book, crocheting, sewing, and was an avid shoe shopper!
Jo-Anne is survived by her father Scotty Sobey of Cranbrook, BC, her brother Randy Sobey and family of Calgary, AB. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends who loved her.
The family will be holding a private service. Donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
