Joan Davine Aune passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital at the age of 81 years. Joan was born on May 22, 1936 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Joan was one of three daughters born
to Lenore and Fred Bridger. Joan married Harry Aune in August 1957.
Left to mourn her passing is her two children, Kirk William and Coral Lynn. She also leaves one sister, Claudia Heide. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Thorvald Aune, her son Lance Thorvald and her sister Lavon Will.
Joan was an active member of the Kimberley Food Bank, the Kimberley Arts Society and the Jaycees.
If friends desire, memorial donations may be made in Joan's memory to the Kimberley Food Bank.
At Joan's request, there will be no funeral service.
