April 17, 1953 - January 29, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected loss of our dad's loving wife and our amazing mom on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Kelowna, BC due to sudden heart failure at the young age of 65.

Jutta was born in Almena, Germany on April 17, 1953. She arrived in Canada at age 2 with her parents, Rudi and Ilsa; her sister Ilka and brother Peter. She met Tony in Oshawa, Ontario in 1969. She married Tony on April 22, 1972 and they moved to Kimberley, BC in 1975. Jutta later went on to complete Business Administration at the College of the Rockies.

She was most passionate about her children and grandchildren (known to them as Nana, Grandma and Oma) and would do anything for them. Her hobbies included dancing, music, being outdoors, baking, cooking and shopping.

She was the pillar of supporting her husband Tony with the Gymnastics Club for 14 years in addition to many other ventures.

Having been blessed with a warped sense of humor and laugh that was incredibly infectious, Jutta would often be the life of the party, getting everybody laughing. To hear her laugh was enough to light up everyone nearby and her unconditional love and support was never-ending.

Jutta is survived by her husband Tony; children Joanna (Mike), Gabriella (Andy), Adrian (Amanda); grandchildren Jesse, Julian, Emma, Makayla, Aubree and Jade; sisters Ilka and Claire (Martin); and her brother Robert (Jean).

Jutta was predeceased by her parents Rudi and Ilsa Hilscher; her step- mother Mary (Verva) Hilscher; and her brother Peter.

A visitation for Jutta will be held on Friday, February 8th, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at McPherson Funeral Home in Kimberley, BC.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Kimberley, BC.

Please make memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Kootenays Branch, #100, 1000 - 21st Avenue North, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 5L9 or the Kimberley & District Community Foundation (KDCF), 42 - 101 Avenue, Kimberley, British Columbia, V1A 1A3.

Jutta, If I listen closely I can hear the rustle of Angel wings and I know that you are still with me - Love Tony
