Karen passed away peacefully in her home March 28th 2022 after battling breast cancer with such bravery and strength. Karen was born and raised in Kimberley, then living in many places around BC before moving back with her family permanently in 2000.
She lived her life fully and managed to pack in many lifetimes of adventures into her 60 years, her favourites including flying planes, travelling the world with her family and friends and saying YES to anything presented to her by the people she loved. She was a truly wonderful and inspirational person and will be missed more than words can express.
A Celebration of life open house for Karen will be held April 23rd at the Kimberley Nordic Centre, please drop by anytime between 1-4.
