Laurena "Ma'am" Kane

May 7, 1929 - September 11, 2019
Laurena Kane passed away peacefully,surrounded by her loving family. Laurena was a light to all who knew
her! She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Friend. She listened rarely giving
advice, aways without judgement, with great wisdom & a generous heart....
No one could celebrate life like Ma'am. Laurena (Ma'am) moved to Kimberley from Calgary, in 2016 where she
enjoyed being closer to more family. She came to love her new surroundings,
especially the wonderful people & the "Beautiful Skies".
Her entire family celebrated her "90th" Birthday, with her, in Blue Lake, May, 2019! Survived by: Daughters: Robin & Paul Dixon & Family, Wendy Mather & Family, Bonnie and Ron Bryant & Family, Colleen Teters & Family.
Grand Children 9. Great Grand Children 12. Special niece, Laurie & Bjorn Hagland & Family.
We will Celebrate Laurena's Life at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Kimberley, BC on Oct 12, 2019 at 12:00 with a short lunch after in the lower level.
