July 9, 1959 - November 2, 2023
Louise Elizabeth Mary Logan (64) passed away peacefully the morning of November 2, 2023, with the love of her family surrounding her.
Louise was born on July 9th, 1959, in Vancouver B.C. She spent her childhood and early adulthood in Fort St. James before moving to Cranbrook, where she met the love of her life Stephen Logan and started her family.
Steve and Louise exchanged vows September 3rd, 1983, they then welcomed their beautiful baby boy Dustin (1985) into the world, shortly following with their "ray of sunshine" Jessica (1988). In 1995 they made the move to Kimberley where they raised their two children. For over 30 years and in various locations she worked for Overwaitea Foods, where she made an entire community of friends that soon turned into family.
Louise was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Nana, and Friend, she found joy in gardening, decorating, cooking, spending time with her family and grand girls. You would often find her knee deep in soil "foo-fooing" her garden. She was enriched by entertaining and sharing her space with her loved ones.
Louise had an enormous heart and a wonderful witty sense of humor. She was selfless, generous, vibrant, and full of life. She accepted everyone with an open heart, open arms and a perpetual smile, the coffee was always on.
Louise was predeceased by her father Mike.
She will be missed deeply by her Husband of 40 years, Steve; children, Dustin (Sophie Gatward) Jessica; grandchildren, Mackenzie, and Charlotte; Mother Vera; Stepfather, Lenord; siblings, Dennis (Della) Sheena (Rob), Bill (Vicky), Maureen, Jimmy, as well as extended family, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it's gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply. Lou will be remembered for her wild hair, wild humor, and her fervor for life and all its opportunity. We love you Lou, till we meet again.
