February 15, 1923 - April 25, 2019
Margaret passed away peacefully on April 25. We shall miss her deeply.

She was born in Hungary in 1923 to Julius and Jolane Haller. They immigrated to Canada in 1927 with her two younger sisters. After spending her childhood on a sugar beet farm where her younger sister and brother were born. She met her husband Phil Sanche at 18 and after they married, moved to Halifax where Phil served in the Air Force during WW II. They later moved to Lethbridge where daughters Arlene and Terry were born. In 1952 they moved to Kimberley, BC where Tim and Lianne were born.

Marg loved camping and fishing at Premier Lake with Phil, spending many summers there with family. She was a great cook and was revered especially for her chicken paprika and spatzle and angel wings pastries. A socialite she enjoyed dancing, entertaining, hosting family dinners, attending the Catholic Church and playing cards, especially Canasta. She brightened people's lives with her incredible generosity, sharp sense of humour and wisdom. She was very proud of her family and made all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren feel like celebrities when they visited her at the Gardenview.

She was predeceased by her husband Phil, daughter Terry Dean and sons- in-law Jim Thorrougood and Ron Taylor. She is survived by sisters Elaine Sander & Family, Helen Warnack and family, Betty Armstrong and family, brother Larry Haller and family. Daughter Arlene Taylor and her family, Mark and Andrea Thorrougood, Jenny and Matt, Andrea Bova, Jagger and Eden, Aleisha and Darryl Elliott; daughter Terry's husband Clint, Leesa and Matt, Scarlett and Phillip; daughter Lianne and son Michael; son Tim and Debby, Danielle and Courtney and many of the Sanche clan.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Garden View, the Sacred Heart Church, staff at the Cranbrook Hospital, Dr. VanZyl, the Kimberley ambulance staff, and all her friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on July 13th at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11 am.
